In this second International Outsider Project (IOP - the new int.KISD excursion format), KISD students will meet with Parsons' students from NYC and Paris and travel with them through Europe. Based on last year’s extraordinary experience, we continue our fruitful and unique collaboration with Parsons (AMT).

The project has two parts: a field trip with our partners is embedded in a main collaborative project assignment dedicated to the topic of "The power of 360°: Motion Experiences".

The excursion part will focus on an exquisite exchange of intercultural experience: comparing characteristics of two different design metropoles - exploring one week in Berlin, the other one in Paris - it is meant to find, observe, narrate and create on differences.

Berlin and Paris are synonymous with diversity, inventiveness and interdisciplinary design approaches. Over the last 20 years, both cities' constant change developed extraordinary design environments consisting of studios, agencies, places, conferences and cultural platforms. From talks of local designers to artist studio visits and historic city discoveries, students will benefit of both cities, full of creative opportunities for designers.
